Guided Imagery is a type of mind-body intervention that is used as a stress management technique that safely recalibrates the brain and allows you to replace negative emotions with feelings of positivity and stability. It creates a state of focused attention and increased suggestibility to facilitate behavioral change.
Mind Ur Cells is a Mind-Body Wellness Center where we strive to have the Mind, Body and Spirit all work together to achieve perfect balance. Guided Imagery has been proven to be effective in helping relieve various conditions such as: anxiety, stress, chronic pain, insomnia, fears and phobias, sports performance, test anxiety, weight loss, low self-esteem, surgical anxiety, lack of motivation, relationship issues, fear of public speaking, tinnitus, unwanted habits and goal setting.
Francesca has been a Certified Hypnotherapist for over 14 years. She specializes in guided imagery , hypnotherapy, Pranic healing Practitioner, EMDR, EFT-tapping, NLP, Access Consciousness Bars Practitioner, Reiki, face Lymphatic Drainage, group Meditations and music therapy. Francesca enjoys watching her clients progress and have success in overcoming many obstacles which include anxiety, stress, self-sabotage, chronic illness, cancer challenges, postpartum depression, pre and after surgery, teenage social destress, autoimmune disease, traumas, fears and phobias among many other life situations. Through the use of hypnotherapy and repetitive sound and visualization, along with all of the skills and training mentioned. Francesca helps her clients to access the mind-body connection to achieve the releasing of those negative thoughts and emotions that have been a barrier to their long term contentment and success.

Rhythm:
A fun and immersive therapeutic drumming experience using djembe and bongo drums to provide unique opportunities for the release of negative emotions, decreased anxiety and tension and renewed energy. When played with different beats an individual is often able to release pent-up feelings of tension and frustration in a safe and non-threatening environment. Studies have found that music therapy has a positive effect on a broad range of physical and emotional conditions. No drumming experience necessary!!

Teens - Guided Imagery For Stress and Anxiety Release
In today's world teens are experiencing stress and anxiety at record levels. Using breath work and guided imagery we seek to help teenagers develop a sense of calm and well being. Our goal is to help them handle the typical and sometimes intense emotions and situations that they may face. We remind them that it is normal to sometimes feel stressed or sad and help them develop tools to be able to handle these sometimes extreme emotions and feelings. Through this guided imagery journey our goal is to help them reduce their anxiety, improve their grades, make better choices, develop more friendships, feel more connected to others and feel happier and better about themselves.

Competitive athletes will be determined to do almost anything that will give them the edge. To win, to be the best in their chosen field. Enhancing sports performance with Guided Imagery is nothing new, its been used to enhance sports performance since the 1920’s and the reason it’s been used for such a long time, is that it works. Sport guided imagery works on the principle of the mind-body connection, and as advances in neuroscience and psychology have been made and the science studied, we now know that the two are unequivocally linked. Our minds and our bodies are in constant communication with a flow of neurotransmitters from the brain to the cells of the body and back again. In short, your body responds to the way you think, feel, and act.
The primary objective of guided imagery, is to bring the physical body and the subconscious mind into balance, which is why it’s so well suited to enhance sports performance. Athletes often refer to being ‘in the flow’ or in ‘the zone’ and during this time they are in fact in a state of hyper focus. Attention is fixed, focused and the subconscious mind goes into autopilot in order to get the job done. Cancer diagnosis and treatments (such as chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery) can be incredibly stressful. While Access Bars is not a pain management treatment in the traditional sense, some individuals report experiencing reduced physical discomfort or a shift in their perception of pain after sessions.
What is Guided Imagery
Guided Imagery is the process of using your imagination to interact with the subconscious mind in an open-reflective process to create positive change in your life. There are three main components to guided imagery. They are (1) a strong desire to change, (2) a state of deeply relaxed focus, and (3) language and visualization in relationship to emotions.
What is the Accelerated Transformation Process?
The process we use is simply a state of relaxed focus. It is a natural state. In fact, each of us enters such a state - sometimes called a trance state - at least twice a day: once when we are falling asleep, and once when we are waking up. That kind of fuzzy, timeless state between dreaming and awake is a trance state. When a nine-minute snooze-button seems to give you enough time to have an-hour long dream, that's a trance state.
There are many other times that people enter a natural state of trance. Driving, watching TV, listening to music, working on a favorite hobby or activity in the "flow" state. These are all "altered states of consciousness," and all are various levels of trance. Trance is normal, natural and common.
Some people leave their first Guided Imagery session saying, "I was not sleeping - I knew what was going on the whole time!" Well of course you did! G. I. is not a state of amnesia or of no awareness. Just the opposite true, in fact: G.I. is a state of very heightened awareness and focus.
Will I lose control?
You always have control, and you can always hear what's going on. This process is nothing but a state of relaxed deep focus. It is a natural state that you enter at least twice a day (while waking up and while falling asleep!), and probably much more often than that. If at any time you are in trance and you wish to be fully awake, you can just count to yourself "1 - 2- 3" and open your eyes.
This process can not make you do something that is against your morals or ethics. e. You have to want the change, agree with the change, and then hypnosis is an instrument for helping make that change better, faster, and permanent.
Can Guided Imagery , Meditation and Visualization Make Me Happier?
Unhappiness often stems from hopelessness and a lack of self-belief. This lack of self-belief can come from negative messages we received when we were very young. They color how we see ourselves and our world, making us unhappy.
With hypnosis, we can find the root of these negative beliefs and we can use the power of the mind to replace them with positive, more accurate beliefs. This can give you a happier outlook on life.
Do always keep in mind that guided imagery and hypnosis are not a treatment or cure for mental illness, and people suffering from psychosis, suicidal depression, or that are on medications for psychological stability should only be hypnotized with the client's doctor or psychiatrist's referral.
